In the evening of June 2nd, SCFD was dispatched for a 1 vehicle UTV into a tree at the intersection of Foxes bottom Road and West Main St in Adena. Crews arriving on scene found 2 patients over an embankment had crashed at a significant speed into a tree. One patient was transported to the hospital with minor injuries with the other patient being transported via air evac to a level 1 trauma center in Pittsburgh. Responding units included SCFD ambulance 2273 and brush 2246 with UTV 2299 as well as an engine company from Harrisville Fire and two ambulances from Hopedale Fire.
